Classic Performance Products recently had the pleasure of rehabilitating Kev Elliott’s Street Rodder Magazine project ’55 Chevy two-door wagon. Its well-worn suspension, brakes, and steering have now been upgraded to CPP’s all-new Stock Type control arms, 12-inch rotor drop spindle brake kit, 500 Series power steering conversion, OE steering column, motor and trans mounts, and large GM flange rear brake kit. Kev’s “low-budget” build coverage will be featured in Street Rodder Magazine, which will debut in print and online early 2015, and serve as his daily mode of transportation.

Last Saturday, CPP attended the reveal of Classic Car Marketing's latest project. They approached CPP last year and we fell in love with their concept. At their launch was a beautiful blue 1955 Chevy Belair Hardtop sporting CPP's Big Brake 13" front disc brakes. The CPP calipers were powdercoated candy blue that caught everyone's eye. Under the hood, you will find CPP's booster/dual chamber master cylinder combo and lines to feed the Big Brakes side by side with our 500 Series™ power steering box. The underside of the car was just as nice as it showed off CPP's tubular control arms, coil springs and that gives this Chevy a perfect stance. The interior was a nice combination of retro with a touch of modern, featuring our Classic Fit™ tilt steering column, painted to match the dash and upholstery.

Here at CPP, we are big on research and development. Our R&D team and Engineering continues to develop new and improved products to compliment the CPP product line. Right now, we are working on expanding our G-body line! Some of the products in the works: 11" and 12" Rear Disc Brake Conversion kits, stock geometry spindle for C5 Corvette front brakes, Tubular Control Upper and Lower control arms for the front and rear...
